Yeah, for my birthday (in April) we all went to Panera (my fave) and I got to sleep in late and some of my friends came over for an adult hang-out that weekend :)
Oh, wow am I dense! I didnt realize that you were asking if I celebrated the birthING for myself?!

I will tell you what, on the one year anniversary of Casey's birth, his very awesome homebirth, I did ALOT of special things. at the very hour he came earthside, I sat down on the floor in the exact spot where he was literally born and just sat there for a while.
Unfortunately the sub sequent birthING days I have not taken much chance to cherish the real meaning of birthdays and have gotten too carried away in the cakes and streamers type of stuff.
Sorry so dense, and thank you for reminding me of how I really want/need to celebrate my babies births.
